Good evening ,
Regarding the title above:
I used to rough shoot (complete with spaniels ) with my late father-in-law and also used to plink occasionally with a Webley .177 and a BSA springer .22 over 25 years ago..
I am interested in returning to the hobby (sub12) and mainly target shooting but am literally bamboozled with the choice of kit out there so any advice would be appreciated.
Having scoured the internet (YouTube mainly) and compared various setups I’ve (sort of) settled on the Weihrauch HW100 coupled with a Vector Optics 3-12x44ffp scope and other ancillary bits and bobs.
If anyone shoots anything similar to this or has any advice about alternative setups I’d be really grateful.
Thanks,
Jonathon

I have the HW100 KT Laminate in .177 with Vector Veyron 4-16 ffp , absolutely love the combination and the only handicap to accuracy is me. I came back to shooting at the age of 76 just 3 years ago. Go for it!
