I have a Katran, which was tested at 11.9 foot pounds using JSB Exact Heavy Diabolo 10.34 grain.

Is the classification of sub 12 on an average or shot by shot? Using the FX pocket chronograph V2,

I have an average of 11.9 ft lbs, hi of 12.3 ft lbs & low of 11.3 ft lbs, standard deviation 0.2 ft lbs & a spread of 1.0 ft lbs.

This was over a string of 216 shots. I have put over 500 pellets through the Katran, so i think the regulator must be settled now. No matter how long the string, i get the same average 11.9 ft lbs. Is the gun legal by the average.

I have searched but cannot find any definitive answer to what the 12ft lbs reading is?
